How is my order shipped?

Japanese Gifts Online has chosen the best shipping rate and the best delivery service.
Your order will be shipped within the Netherlands via PostNL. For other countries within Europe with Postnl.

When shipping by PostNL the package is offered twice at the shipping address you have provided. If you are not home for the second time, you can pick up the package at the post office within five days, otherwise it will be returned to us and the customer has to pay the extra return fee. See www.postnl.nl for more information.

What are shipping and handling costs?

No administration costs are charged.
Shipping costs for packages under 10 kg are: € 6,95 * incl. VAT, are delivered throughout the Netherlands. Letterbox mail with tracking under 1000 grams within The Netherlands €4,25.

Unfortunately prices are higher due to the higher fuel prices, we take the extra cost for our account.

Delivery time in the Netherlands

** Before and during the holidays (Sinterklaas and Christmas), delivery times for may be longer than usual.

We are committed to sending orders as quickly as possible, but due to the holidays it is advisable to order a week in advance.

Please note: Because of "Black Friday' (last Friday in November) it can happen that parcels for "Sinterklaas December 5th" and Christmas cannot be delivered on time. So, please order in advance far before these crazy times in order to receive your parcel on time. Unfortunately, last year we experienced lots of delays in delivery and some broken products.

We do our utmost to handle all our orders with the highest care.

In case you receive a damaged parcel, please don't refuse it, but keep it and contact us, within 24 hours by mail: [email protected]

The costs for returning the parcel by refusing will be much higher than the normal shipping costs!

PostNL does not deliver on the following dates: 25 and 26 December and New Year's Day (1 January), King's Day 27 April, Ascension Day.
We have no influence on the time of delivery.

Tip: it is possible to deliver the package to a different address (for example the work address).
Tip: Benefit and order multiple products at the same time, for packages up to 10 kg (within the Netherlands), € 6,95.
